Claudia Winkleman......... this year's award for bad presenting, bad hair and ridiculous one liners......goes to....yes Claudia.....just saying:D

Also quite partial to a little salsa....and I don't mean the sauce;)

Aye, strictly is the only one I have ever watched, and not even done that this year, mainly because most of the celebs were, well, totally off my radar I guess. I used to think I liked SCD because it was the one where they did actually have to work bloody hard for it and learn, but I tried that Ice Dancing one and loathed it as much as all the others, soo.... I dunno, probably all those years watching the original at my Grans house when I was kid. ;)

Don't mind Claudia Winkleman, though jeez I wish she would do something with that bloody hair do which make her look even more manic than she already is.

Ant and Dec make my eyes itch...

Not sure what it is about her, but I find her...well, err............Yes I would! :naughty:

Can we extend the "what's the point" to all "I'm a strictly X factor get me more popular" type phone in competitions?

I'll back that campaign.

Remember Hyacinth is Keeping Up Appearances, when she would do that strange eye blinking thing when something had offended her senses? Yeah, that's me every time I happen up on those two on my TV screen!

haha, Hyacinth Bucket. Yep I can picture her now.

You are sick......:D

I'm not! ....... Old yes ;)
(following on fro Yv's tv theme) picture Les Dawson in a Cissy & Ada sketch, when she/he has the arms folded under her chest & pouts those lips.............that's me watching Claudia. :D

Who?

And what's going on with Craig's goatee!!

Scrotum tickler...

As for CW, well, I might but have you seen its mother???

Have to admit to being a bit of a strictly fan, watching non dancers (well, some of them) having a skill drummed into them then honed until they are (in most cases) more than competent is rather compelling. The jokes like JM this year provide a 2 minute gap to make a cuppa.

Don't watch it religiously but I can't stand Claudia winkleman. Her stupid fringe, the eye makeup which makes her eyes look even smaller than they already are. And the lipstick designed to blend in with her skin. She is seriously scare and am scared to even imagine her without it.

And then yes there is the "comedy" act. No, not good at all.

I don't care about celebrities but some of the dancing was pretty amazing.

I've met her without her showbiz makeup on. Without the silly eye makeup she's rather pretty and has a certain naughty appeal

I've only met a few 'celebrities' but my suspicion is that if we were to meet these people 'in the flesh' our previous conceptions of them would probably be overturned, i.e. the ones we think we would like we possibly wouldn't and vice versa.

What’s wrong with you all if you had been told 20 years ago that you would be sat in on a Saturday night watching ballroom dancing you would have laughed your self’s silly.

I have a good idea for a “celebrity” Game show stick all these nonentities on a boat ship then to the North Pole last one alive wins. Win win all round we get rid of these so called celebrities, who are famous for what? and feed a few polar bears at the same time.:woot::banana::woot::banana::woot:

Yes. And lets extend it to alleged comedians too.

What is the point of Miranda Hart and (especially) Sarah Millican?

That's as far as you needed to go with that one.

add in Stuart Lee, Russell Brand/Noel Fielding, Ricky Gervais and a plethora of unfunny planks that seem to inhabit the comedy 'cult' these days :(

Definitely include Ricky Gervais in the 'what's the point of...' list.
