What is the going rate for an A1 D70 body package

As title, A1 condition with NEW shutter mechanism under warranty so in theory 0 actuations. Unmarked, boxed with everything apart from lens.

Anyone give me a rough figure?

A good guide is always to do an advanced search on ebay for completed listings and you can see the selling price.

Quick question - what was the reason for the new shutter mechanism? Does the exif data still show the higher numbers? (IE was it reset when the new mech was put in)
 
I've not checked tbh.
It had the common err problem after 2 pictures and then the mirror locked and it did a double take.
Sent it to Nikon for repair and service. Good as new now.
 
Its an old model, superceded a few times, with a relatively small lcd screen and a 6 mp sensor.
On the plus side, its still a very good body indeed and will produce sharp detailed images straight from the camera.
I would be happy to pay up to about £150, but no more.
I just sold a boxed D70 with 18-70 lens and 3 batteries with all the original accessories and less than 2800 shutter actuations, for £225.
