Yes
I currently use 2 1920 x 1200 monitors, but I could do with more space.

What is the easiest way to upgrade to 3 or 4 monitors? Matrox triple head or add a 2nd graphics card?

The computer is a Dell Vostro 430, it only has 1 PCI-E x16

I've found a number of threads discussing the subject, but they are all full of advice, I've not seen one with a solution that has been used successfully.

Has anyone got experience with ATI Eyefinity and the active Display port adapters?

Get a USB to dvi device, cheap and really good.

"StarTech.com USB DVI External Dual or Multi Monitor Video Adapter External video adapter - 16 MB"

I'd always get a specific graphics card capable of the amount of screens personally, at least you can guarantee it'll run the correct res etc. and won't tie up CPU time.

But how many can be used at the same time? They are often paired or you can only use half of them.

It is a dell vostro, so what came with the PC. Can swap it for another card, no idea what one though.

Depending on what you want it for and how much you have to spend, how about swapping the twin 24s out for twin 27s or twin 30s?

I have twin 30's at work and 5000+x 1600 is awesome, however I regularly wish I had one more screen... Not sure where I would put it though...

I have twin 26" (no idea why you can no longer get this resolution at this size)

I just have so many windows open, could really do with another screen.

I was meaning twin 27" 2650x1440 monitors, not 1920x1200 monitors. It gives you about an extra third screen real estate (so the equivalent of another monitor basically).

Nah, needs to be another monitor.

If Microsoft had made the drag to the side etc. better on windows 8 for window resizing, I might of been able to survive with 2, but need a 3rd
