What is the best SD card ?

Hi all,

I have just bought a nikon D5000 camera, I'm looking for a 8gb SD card...has anybody any suggestion on what is the beat and quickest SD card?

The best one, is the one full of cracking photos! :D

I use Transcend class 10 SDHC cards myself. I've got a 16GB and a load of 8GB cards. Look on Amazon or My Memory. Others will probably suggest other makes but, these are working well for me. Lifetime warranty too...

Reccomend the transcend too, i would think sandisk extreme is the best
Transcend class10 16gb can be had the cheapest from 7dayshop.com 17 quid inc delivery IIRC
 
Thats great, i was looking on Amazon and i could get a Sandisk 8GB 20MB/s Extreme Video HD SDHC Card (Class 6) for £16.58 + Delivered FREE.

What do you think ?

Thats not bad im sure the transcend has speeds of 22mbps read and 20 write so its faster and twice the size for pretty much the same price. Makes sense really
 
You's are the experts, I'll go for the Transcend class10 16gb.

i have a 8gb and 16gb sandisk extreme 60mb/s and it works really well
