Yes
I've recently switched my laptop to linux (crunchbang) and am loving the experience. All the alternative programs to windows versions I need have been more than satisfactory. RAW editors seems to be the one area where there doesn't seem to be one a capable alternative.

Does anyone else use linux? What do you use?

I use linux and tried ufraw, darktable and raw therapee but lightroom and games are the two areas of computing where I still boot into windows.
It's more that I don't want to spend all the time learning another interface when I have one I am already very familiar with than there being anything wrong with linux raw programs (in fact I preferred the output of raw therapee to LR until version 4).

Thx for your suggestions I'll give raw therapee a try. i did have a look on darktable but the version in the debian stable repository was very old. I'm considering dual booting too.

I use darktable, really good.

But you will need to compile it.

Keep an eye out here, it's the open source version of LightZone - they've just released the new version for windows and Linux should be along shortly.
