What is photography to you

Relaxtion and a feel good.

I relax when I have my camera and I am snapping away.

I then feel good if I get a good shot :)

There is something magical in 'capturing light', which is, after all, the thing we all do. And, everyone is trying to find that magical moment in time, which wil llive forever. One doesnt always succeed, of course, but that's all part of the fun!

Photography for me is about capturing that perfect moment, that means something to you on a personal basis. I like to share my work and therefore share my own personal experiences with everybody else. They are certainly grateful of my sharing in the editorial department of Readers Wives.

For me it's an excuse to loiter on ebay buying stuff I can ill afford to make up for the lack of inspiration and motivation I'm suffering from.

Yes...but what is the perfect photo? For me perfection may mean something different to you!

Hence why it is the orginal impossible mission, bit like golf you keep striving to get better and each time to take your shot and fail to get it just right you keep remembering back to those great shots you did before and know that you can do better. The more you practice the more frequent you great shots come along.

Fun, a hobby, memory keep-sakes, a learning curve, safer than being on the track (but not as fun) expensive (choice rather than necessity)

something i have always loved . something i was told to more with . and now do .
A poweful way to capture a moment in time that will last forever .
just handed over a wedding album to a bride . as she looked through it she got to a photo of the kids at the wedding and said "wow i love this one if you hadn`t taken that it would have been gone forever " this album is everything i wanted it to be " THANKYOU !.

My first love.

and my life.

I'd be nothing without Photography, I wouldn't have a drive to do anything otherwise.

It keeps my brain and my eyes active, it makes me think, it allows me to create, it brings me bags of pleasure - it teaches me to see how amazing the ordinary stuff really is :)

Its about sharing what you see and hoping someone else sees it too!

A way for me to make images on paper that are recognisable. (I can't draw curtains...)

A bit of fun.

To get slightly more in depth, I like it because it makes me go to places I normally wouldn't and at times I certainly wouldn't for anything else (230am start once!), as a result I see things I otherwise wouldn't. Plus I used to love art back when I was in education but never got to follow through, so I guess it keeps my creative side alive to an extent too!

Memories. Started taking pics during my service days and due to injury and a long lay up started processing my own,at my fathers suggestion. He never knew what he unleashed.
