Hi

New to all the photography terminology, but on some reviews for cameras i've seen the term Chroma.

What exactly is that and what is the cause a cheap lens or is it more to do with the body.

I tired google could not really find an answer

Thanks for the quick response. So basically if you were getting it and got a better lens you'd eliminate some or all of it. I think it's the chromatic aberration the review must be referring too.

following on...chroma key??

It's where you replace a colour in an image with something else. It's most commonly used when you sit someone in front of a green screen, then replace the green with an image—like when they interview someone on the news and it appears that they're in a room with a beautiful London view, as opposed to the broom cupboard that they're actually sat in.

this comes from film and it was shot against a blue or now a green background and in the edit you can kill/remove the blue / green screen and drop in a new background think of superman flying he is filmed on a table with a wind machine with a green screen background and then dropped into a film shoot from a helicopter
