Water ( or anything for that matter) in whisky is for wusses :D:D

Neat, supp it neat and taste it! ( says he who no longer drinks alcohol  )

According to the good people at the malt whisky society a drop of water, a teaspoon per measure I believe, is considered the proper way to drink malt as it realeases the oils and therefore the delicate flavours and aromas.
Who are we to argue with the great and the good. :D

^^^this...

and I must admit, I only tend to add the barest splash unless it's a "cask strength" Malt, in which case I'll add a little more...

(and if anyone suggests adding Ice, i'd recommend a good firm slap...)

depending on the location I'll add a small ice cube and let it melt, hot pubs with hot spirits are not the most pleasant places for whisky but sometimes needs must and the ice cube delivers a good amount of water and lowers the temperature of the spirit from volcanic.

Looks like a slap heading your way! [emoji15]

We invented the stuff we can drink it how we like. I could add coke to stuff if I wanted; Now the rest of you, take it as prescribed :D

According to DNA experts in the newspapers, the DNA in W Yorkshire is unique.......anybody got a drinking problem from W Yorks :D

the DNA in my village is certainly pretty unique... over 2/3 of the village is related to each other...

And before you say it, no, both my parents lived elsewhere, met, and moved there, so i'm definitely in the 1/3 that have 2 eyes, dont have a hair-lip and can't play the Banjo to save my life.
