What have you done with your camera today

I purchased my xmas presents from my mom a Nikon 50 mm 1.8 lens, camera strap, camera bag, larger memory card, lens hood, and reflector set!! :) <3

Took some photos around Charing X food market in London, got quizzed by the YTS police for my troubles!

I'm envious about your 5DS. I hope you're pleased with it. I hope to join you shortly as an owner, adding it to my 5D Mkll.

Headed out 7miles to location, unpacked car and had forgot something so returned home. Headed back out again to same location, unpacked car and began raining. Non-waterproof equipment, packed up and returned home. So in summary, nothing at all.

Got a new Petax PK-EF adapter delivered so setting off with my8 7D with a Pentax M 50mm f/1.4 to trt out. I have my 50E loaded with Tri-X 400 to cover a pretty grey day.... got the time but the light would be better with fresh snow. Not cold enough down here in Somerset.

Nothing exciting...left the DSLR at home and just used my phone (LG G3... Which is fantastic as a walk about camera). Captured this little guy in the park.

Tried out a cheap Neewer 110 LED ringflash on my EF-S 60mm Macro mounted on an EOS1200D. Fun and interesting. Got some ear close ups of a sleeping cat....

Will be cataguing and shooting my Irish stamp collection over the next month. Toshiba Flash Air card in the 1200D feeding my IPad Air to display as I go.

Went to Imber with just the X30 and wandered around for an hour and a half. The X30 did quite well and I'll upload the results to my web site a bit later.

Introduced it to my Christmas present; a 50mm f/1.8 STM. Getting along well so far.

First walk of the year and determined to get fit and lose weight (again)

Went local to the house and tried out my new 10-18.

Nothing special and very poor light but you just never know where that next great picture will come from.

Does yesterday still count? Headed off up the hills in the snow for some shots, took my usual DSLR plus two 35mm SLRs, looking forward to comparing results!

Dodgy internet, repeated post :(

Took some photos of an old bus we passed in a lay by today. Didn't wind the body on before I attached the film back so only got 11 photos on the roll instead of 12 :S

Well it was yesterday but I photographed a guy jet skiing on a flooded football pitch - and The Sun and Daily Mail used one of them - makes up for not having any football to shoot at the weekend

My son and I went down to Wells for breakfast and did some shots with an old Canon 300D I had since it came out. Stuck a basic Tamron 18-200 on it, along with a Canon 750D With an EF-S 15-85.

The 300D/Tamron combination was fun.

We then went to Cheddar Gorge which wss very quiet. Very high contrast bright sunshine and blue sky this morning. Just got back and will transfer shots later.

Afternoon nap time for this oldie....

Edit: Also had the 70D slong for the ride which also got used/tested.

I can't find my lens cap :( but did charge the battery

Gave the replacement mamiya 645 AFD ffordes sent to me a good cleaning. It's in better condition than the original which was returned due to a shutter fault.

Took them out of the bag and cleaned them...put them back..

Finished my 'bicycles' project with my Bronica ETRs today. Now need to think of a February project.

Welcome, John. Why not pop over to the Film & Conventional forum? There's a Bronica thread there, and I'm sure folk would like to see a couple of your shots, either in the "Show us your film shots" thread, or in the Photos from Film forum? Of course, there's also a Projects forum, but the filmies don't go there much!

Showed him the wind and rain from the hall window..... he ddcided to go back in hus bag.....

Stood on a cold windy beach hungover for 10 minutes, screwed on a 10 stop filter and decided today would not be my day for amazing photos. Then went home.

I prepared two bodies for a shoot tomorrow. Checked batteries, CF
cards and setup, cleaned the lenses, check the sensor, made sure
the backups are all in the bag…

Oh yes, it will be a shoot in a cement factory, very dusty environment!
So I DIYed some plastic bags to cover both cameras and lenses + flash.

Put an old M42 35mm lens on my DSLR and took it out in the sun at lunch. Forces you to think differently when you have to focus manually or preset your focus.

Collected my new tripod and head from the post office, set them up and put my camera on them, decided it was too windy outside to venture out so put it all back in the cupboard for now!

Las night took these
For he moon Used my Sony a390 200mm Sigma lens from my Minolta dynax 3000
Other same camera 18mm Sony lens

I take my camera , travel 40 km to search something to shoot, but nothing.
Winter without snow and dark colors are not the best phptpgrapher friends.

Bought myself another one for infrared conversion.
Not sure if this one will be infrared or full spectrum yet - probably full spectrum i think but we'll see :)

Spent the afternoon doing portaits of my grandkids in Dublin. Had a 3 speedlight set up with a reflector and and 2 collapsible speedlight softboxes using my EOS750D and a muslin backdrop..... It has been a long time since I did this type of shoot. Great fun..... looking at a 'proper' studio light set up online.... I must resist, I must resist... twitch twitch.
