What have you done with your camera today

mmmm... Honestly, I made some shots of my old clothe today for the sale

Yesterday, I looked lovingly at my 5DMkiii and wished I could get my head round the autofocus system and tracking case possibilities...

I'm off work ill at the moment, so today I'm going to give it a good clean!

Charged the batteries in a hope to get out this evening with it. Fingers crossed its not too cold!

What a pity, that cameras do not work properly at low temperatures, isn't it? ;)

I've been clearing out photos from my Fuji X70 and sorting photos from my recent Morocco trip. Here are a couple of random snaps from Lalla Takerkoust in Marakesh.

I haven't done anything with my camera yet, but I spent a frantic period turning the house upside down trying to find my spare (and horrendously expensive) 1DX battery. Eventually found it in the side pocket of the camera bag I checked ten times...

If you can't find something, go back to the very first place that you looked.

On seeing the sunshine I knew it was my last chance to catch the autumn leaves. As all the trees outside my office suddenly when yellow then started to drop. But when I got to the park, it was like another world. Most are still green with just the odd yellow tree.

I rushed out again to get the yellow trees before all the leaves are gone. Some trees have gone yellow and shed their leaves completely already. While other trees haven't even started, and are still green. C'mon guys. Keep up!

Sat in the garden trying to get goldfinches on a teasel.Spent a couple of hours freezing my heehaws off but not one bird landed on either of my two perches :(. Oh, well.......

Packed it away, until weekend ;-(

Got my ringflash from Amazon, trying out close up exposure settings. Works 2:1 -1ev f22 iso100, more work to find out what my new setup will do.

I rushed out to photograph the supermoon last night. Froze my fingers off, but the sky was clear and I got some shots.

There's another one tonight. Take a look. <whispers> I think actually, it's the same moon as yesterday.

I already made photos of the moon when I was a kid. It didn't change since then either, so I can't find any reason why I should do it once again.

Downloaded from camera shots from yesterday, one which is here. Runcorn high level bridge construction.

I used Lightroom for the very first time to create a selective color image.

Unboxed a Canon EOS 1V HS. Seems to be built in 2000, but looks brand new, has done 268 rolls so far. I «accidentally» bought two of them on the same day. The other one arrived last week. Built in 2000 too, but has only 68 rolls done, one by me on last Sunday. It feels great and works great. Sensor never to be cleaned. :)

Nothing, I went out today without my camera and missed a hell of a sunset gggrrrrr.

Sean.

Took photos of photographic bibs and bobs for putting on eBay. More challenging that you might think, particularly an all black plastic Voigtlander Brillant.

I made some test shots using long exposure at night.

I used my D3400 that my wife bought me for Christmas to photograph a telescopic sight that I'm selling on an auction site to help fund the purchase of an SB700 fashgun.

I used to do freelance Photography years ago but circumstances dictated that I sell all my gear and I'd commented, whilst we watched the waves crashing over Cromer seafront back in October, that I wished I had something better than my phone camera to catch the real drama.

I loves 'er I do:hug:

(p.s I know it's not Christmas yet but my darling, hoping to surprise me, had done some secret shopping that I rumbled. Just as well because, not being a techie, she hadn't realised that the good price she got was because she'd ordered a body only. I had to order a lens so I needed to check that everything worked ok )

Buskers. There were three buskers in Lincoln today. One is an excellent musician, the other two were ok but kudos for performing publicly. Cost me more than I had intended spending today. I cannot share the pictures as I was using a film camera and still have 12 frames left.

Went out to Oxford Circus. Got a few shots and after about an hour and 40 mins the battery died.

Absolutely rock all. MOH saw some boxes coming in and asked what they were about. Told her that I was building up a set of kit to photograph my watch collection. Fine BUT she instantly confiscated the tripod I had ordered and stated that this would be HER Xmas present to me!! So I don't get to see/use that until Xmas day.

They can be so mean, aren't they?
