well i only started my collection this year,

canon 400D with kit lens
tripod + monopod ( only cheap ones but they suit my needs so far)
a couple memory cards
and uv filter.

think my next purchase will be a nifty fifty.

Well I was just planning on extending my 400D+kit 18-55 for a Safari in June, so have bought:

Bought a 12-24mm f4 a couple of weeks ago (love it!) and literally just bought a SB-600 Speedlight.

The initial plan was that all that would last me for a couple of years...but of course I caught the bug and am now trying to convince myself that it would NOT be a good idea to buy a 50mm f1.4 this year, not to mention a decent tripod and a 10-22 or similar. I'll never have money again! :(

Secondhand 20D as a backup body, bought from MPB Photographic in Brighton today. Absolutely mint condition too - not even scratched paint on the hotshoe - it can hardly have been used! £269 - bargain-tastic!
 
I added a Sigma 10-20 today.. best not tell the bank manager ;)

For this year a 40D + battery grip and a Sigma 180mm Macro.
Plus bits and bobs like a 80cm 5in1 reflector, wired / wirless remote, domain name and website hosting.
 
A £2.19 step down ring 62mm to 58mm in order to use my wife's dioptra lens with my Nikon Macro lens!

Last of the big spenders!
