Hello! new here so 'hello'

I'm not new to photography entirely - but it is just a hobby - one that I don't get enough time to pursue.

I currently have an old 350D (dont really use it) and a 30D. I have the standard kit lenses and a 60mm f2.8 macro. All Canon. I have a Sigma 580 flash.

I would like to become better and maybe use my skills 'professionally' (i use that term on me loosely)

I am looking at the usual suspects, a wide angle (tokina) 24 - 70 f2.8 and a 70 - 200f2.8

My problem is - what one's do i go for? Sigma/Canon/Tamron/Tokina?

I've only tried a Tokina 70 - 200 f2.8 about a year ago and to be honest it felt good and the image quality was good - well I thought.

I understand other brands aren't quite as sharp, esp at the corners...

What do you all think?

oh and where's best to buy? or is anyone selling?

I would go for a 17-55 F2.8 and 70-200 F2.8 both canon if possible, then look at upgrading bodies
