what games do you recommend?

Depends on what type of games you enjoy.

I am currently playing Dead Space Extraction on the Wii - it is an 'on the rails' shooter that unfolds very cinematically - it has helped pass a few hours over the last week or so.

Have a look at MetaCritic - it gives a complete list of available games and the average review score they have been given.
 
ive got the new aliens vs predator game and that is awesome. also if you havnt already got it call of duty modern warfare 2 is a must
 
I have been playing the demo of BF on my PS3, I am dreading the game being released though as the disc drive isnt working, and once the game is released they will bin the online play I think.
Cant justify a new PS3 just yet, might have to buy it for the 360, but then you have to pay to play online.
