What Flash Branded or 3RD party for Wildlife/Birds?

Hi, Yes I no flash by some is a no no when it comes to wilslife/bird photography but if you do use it do you stick with brand Camera/flash or do you go down the Godox, Yongnuo etc route?
At the price Canon charge for there new flash units I could go on holiday but are these third party flash units any good really? I am looking at the Godox V860ll-C as it has for me one big advantage in that it uses the Li-on batteries a battery that fits in the pocket and can give 600+ cycles per charge on full power.
Probably talked myself into one of these now but what do others think? Thankyou, stay safe, Russ.

I use NO flash when photographong wildlife- not natural light, so I avoid doing this

I too have a couple of Godox flashes( 350s & V860ii) I use for Macro / Portraits & Weddings as the SONY equivalent are far too expensive in my opinion

Godox V860ii and JJC Flash extender, are a great combination, when using longer lenses.
