Am looking for fabric background that could also be a floor...it is for a shoot on location.
Am thinking black but could try grey or white.

Was thinking velvet but it may be bit pricey
 
Your requirements point towards vinyl, but it depends what you mean by 'location'.

it would be indoors...

it needs to be quite light as I would be using my own strenght to carry it around on publict transport - still not sure if I would manage to get 3m long roll on bus with me ... :)

how heavy roll of vinyl would be ?
 
just found this :
edit : just realized it is only 90cm wide...


as this is vinyl and I dont have background support, i would need to find a way to get it fized on to something..

found that background supports can be quite cheap...

what length would you suggest ? 4m ? 5?
