What does your avatar mean?

Mine is very simple, I like goats.

They seem to take life at a gentle pace but also sometimes go a bit loopy.

Their climbing ability is amazing; no cloven hoofed animal should be able to climb trees and they produce good cheese.

My only negative experience with goats happened on a Scottish mountain. A small group passed close by and, I assume, the dominant male (which looked like my avatar) was probably the smelliest animal I have ever met.

I don't see mine changing very soon unless I discover another special lift that can rival the paternoster

Much as I really like goats I have, to an extent, agree with you Ruth, but they have very smiley faces :)

I know... It was a shot for the POTY competition, and I sort of had a thing about making as many shots as possible either a play on words, of some sort of visual pun... I was bored at the time, and didn't get out much.

Mine is just a shot I took which I like,but which also sort of personifies me ...! A colourful,talkative old bird who's prone to getting ruffled feathers from time to time.

In answer to the OP I would say that my bite is worse than my bark,
but snakes don't bark so that kinda screws that up :D
 
Mines my shot of a Lego Penrose triangle from last years 52. (Angles was the theme). Actually this was my second attempt, (the first one was pretty rubbish).

Was, and probably still is, my most viewed shot on flickr and still reminds me that sometimes taking a second shot at something is definitely well worth doing. :)

just me behind my lens.. though i wonder.. if you took as someone asked an avatar from the net of say a tv character ( or an image you found on google ) wouldnt that be copyright theft?
 
Mine is pretty self explanatory, but it was sketched for me by a local facebook friend and I ended up liking it a lot that it is my official avatar on every web forum I'm in. Funny how out of the thousands of doodles I've done over the years, someone else's drawing get to be used.

The avatar is simply a snap of a lovely favourite spot from a recent holiday.
Depressingly dull :sleep:
( should have based it on place of birth and been "Glasgow Git" ;) )
