Hey everyone. Happy Monday!

I've stumbled across a piece of kit that someone bought for me at some point.

It's labelled as "Neewer Digital high def 0.45x super wide angle lens with macro"

Am I correct in saying that this gives the effect of widening an existing lens?
Am I right in saying this will give major distortion and image degradation?

Any thoughts? And is it a waste of time?

Most probably - there are plenty of reviews out there that suggest it will: google search

As Les said, try it and see if it works for you and your style of photography. Lensbaby and Lomo lenses are not technically perfect, but they work well for the ways that some people want to use them.

A mate of mine has something similar, the quality is ok (not great) but at a push it's better than nothing, watch out for vignetting (darkening in the corners) my mates is terrible for this.

Sorry, I was hungover and in a 'special' place this morning when I posted this. I should have just read the google reviews myself.

Ill take it out with me the first chance I get and see if it steps up to the mark.
