Wed- cuffs
Thurs- first dates
Fri- gogglebox
Sat- it's all pish!

The only live TV I watch is CNN International when I get up, and some sports. Everything else is recorded.

Although I recently bought a new TV I don't watch it much and what I do watch has generally been recorded

Depending on the time I may put the news on and I do like to try and watch Question Time on a Thursday evening

Monday: Fargo

That is all.

The news (BBC, RT and Al Jazeera) between 7 and 8 in the morning, then nopthing until Pointless at 5.15. University Challenge last night, may watch the footy tonight.
Generally despite all these channels, most of it is rubbish IMO.

The news.
The apprentice.
After that I'm struggling... maybe The Chase, maybe Judge Rinder if time allows.... he may be the campest man in England but I can't help liking him.

Other than the Apprentice, everything is recorded and watched when convenience so, in no particular order:

Homeland*
The Walking Dead
Fargo
Holby*
River (last one this week)*
Cuffs*
Unforgotten (finished last week)*
Casualty*
Doctor Who

If we have the tv on at any other time, it tends to be on Sky News

*Watch with the missus

Homeland, The Walking Dead, the new pottery show with Sarah Cox, Big Bang Theory, Ray Donovan, Outlander, Jerrico, Limitless, The Detectorists, Vikings, Sons of Anarchy plus lots I can't remember - we don't go out in the evening because the offspring are in bed.

All watched from the Sky box, box sets, Netflix and "other means" so not necessarily on the TV that day.

FIICR! Often only see stuff out of the corner of my eye rather than actually watching properly, although the Hunt does get more attention than most. Big bang Theory is usually watched after Mrs Nod finishes her main working week at 9pm on Thursdays. After that, it's the insides of my eyelids.

I'm usually too busy on here to watch TV.

But;

Countdown, sometimes. ;) :D :angelic:
The Chase - then local news.
Any police progs that SWMBO records for me.
Sky news
Jools Holland (but not as good s it used to be imho)
Dr Who (but not as good s it used to be imho)

I am pretty much a download only person now adays, don't even have a TV licence at my Scotland House just play from my laptop with the chromecast.

currently

homeland
walking dead
blacklist
agent-x
z-nation
downton abbey
manhatton
the last kingdom
Vikings

Mine are mostly downloads or documentaries:

How to get away with murder
Doctor Who (although still not catching up with the current doctor)
Grey's anatomy
and replays of Sherlock...

Not a lot these days, CSI Cyber, Castle and NCIS, also the Great British and Continental railway journeys.

Few òther series on DVD such as Bones, Rizzoli and Isles also Blacklist and Motive

the News, 3 or 4 times ....... but I am getting really sick of C4
Eggheads
Homelands
(Cricket and Rugby when it's on ........... never football or F1)

Did anyone watch NCIS s11 e22 the other night with the beautiful B/W photo by Lee Jeffries?

Monday - whatever she wants
Tuesday - whatever she wants
Wednesday - whatever she wants
Thursday - whatever she wants
Friday - Rugby
Sat- whatever she wants
Sunday - Rugby then whatever she wants

Sat - The Bridge (or Wallander, Arne Dahl, Salamander or whatever Scandi/Euro drama is running)
Sun - Tatort (these really need to be subtitled and imported to the UK for BBC4)
Mon - London Spy (very well written, but I'm not seeing it discussed very much - perhaps not a comfortable subject for many?)

And I must admit to enjoying NCIS (original) on the occasional evening (it always seems to be on) and The Professionals with my mid-morning coffee if I've an admin day working from home.

Lots of News,
Pointless - I like quiz programmes and its on when I'm cooking
Only Connect
University Challenge

are the regulars

plus, at present, Detectorists, Capital and London Spy.

Dave

One of the joys of an epically crap memory is that I can watch (well, more like see!) the same crap 2 or 3 times and not really take it in. Of course, the down side of that is not being able to follow story lines over several weeks unless the previous week's episode is shown before the new one. Thankfully, my longer term memory isn't quite as bad, so I can still enjoy some quiz programmes and take great joy in occasionally splitting the 2 teams on University Challenge or (even more occasionally!) beating a couple of contestants on general knowledge on Mastermind. Not 100% sure why I enjoy Countdown and the 8/10 Cats version... :D

The Scales creeping up, after too much eating during the day :)

I record everything so it's a random selection of Netflix or freeview or nothing each night.

London spy is excellent. Capital has been quite good too. I do tend to watch Catastrophe close to live.

The Scandinavian crime thingies have been good. Plus there is another series of the returned on c4 which I haven't started.

I do feel a bit ashamed in saying this but I do like my evening soap routine (EmmerEnders Street) and get annoyed when it does get disrupted by the footy or rugby. I also like The Chase and have become quite fond of Tipping Point.
But weekend telly, apart from Doctor Who, has become really rubbish. I cannot abide all these "reality" shows (I'm A Celebrity, Strictly Dancing, X Factor, etc). A bit of a struggle when I'm a home carer looking after an elderly mother but don't want to spend extra on Sky and streaming services so I have to make do with Freeview.

Did anyone see The Murder Detectives on CH4 over the last three nights?

About bringing a gangland murderer to trial in Bristol. A very good insight into how the police work in cases like that.
