Hi i know alot of you have been helpful already when making comments about my website i just wanted a lot opinion before i started work on a new one.

hi i just looked and i think to be honest its a bit busy, there's so much to look at on the first page. I like the colouring and there is everything you need but maybe the layout needs a little adjustment. HTH

Excuse my limited knowledge of the world of boating but I'm curious, what is the market for what you are selling, why would anyone want a library picture of their boat.

Get rid of the Adsense stuff, or put it down the bottom.

Get your capitalisation and grammar consistent,

Can you turn off the "leave a message box", the "comments" box, the "stats"? Adds to the clutter and most people aren't interested. The problem with stats is that unless its good and worth shouting about, shows lack of visitors.


You say, in various different ways, the same thing about checking back regularly at least 3 times. You just need to say it once.

Header image too big - its forcing the important bits (pictures of boats) off the screen, and most of the contents is already stated in the sidebar.

I aim at the owners of the boats as i found that quite alot of owners want a picture of there boat at sea, as it is quite hard to get one :)

I am 15 and want to make a bit of pocket money so i am doing this.
 
I'm not a pro web developer, but here are some of my thoughts

I would say try to stick to the same font as much as you can.

Definately remove the ads though, because you want your site to look as pro as possible.

Try to remove all the unnessary things such as Gallery Stats. These are things that when creating a website you'll think 'ah that's a pretty cool function, i'll add that to my site'.
But really it reduces the neatness of the site.

Also, if you are keeping the link to your geocities website, then keep the same layout and colour scheme on your geocities page as your fotopic page

You obviously have a connection with the boating world and probably have found a niche market for what you are selling, and at only 15 I applaud you for your' enterprise.

Very enterprising for a young person. The title needs to be more attractive it looks very pixilated and does not really grab my attention. Something like this perhaps

The adsense stuff has to go what would be better and earn just as much revenue would be a search box sponsored by Google, like this one for example http://www.soldierpalmers.co.uk/

Most of all keep plugging away and you will eventually get what you are after.

What size and colours do you want? Send me one of your favorite boat pictures and I will knock something up and email it to you. I will PM my email address for you to send the image.
 
Few top tips, Get rid of the ads and buy a plus fotopic account.
Take off anything you don't need aka the mini boxes, the stats for example.

It's sell sell sell but in the wrong way. Make it slightly more slick by adding a new logo, i am sure one of the chaps here will give you hand.


May i ask have you sold any photos to date?

P.S Do you have a middle name? This is just a small this but 'MS' Although your name might confuse people into the Disease MS. Since it's just Boat photos try aiming for the for that.
