Yes
pretty much as title
what do you keep your spare CF cards in?

do you

a) just chuck them in the bag and wonder why the holes are always full of muck?
b) keep them in the (impossible to open without breaking a fingernail) plastic boxes?
c) use the little black bag that you get with each one?
d) I've only got one and it lives in the camera!

My bag has purpose made little slots in a seperate zip compartment for cards.

So I keep them loose in the bag somewhere within their little cases:lol:

In the little cases, cant say that i find them at all difficult to open/shut

i tend to keep 2 of my cards in the sandisk neopreme keyring that i got with one of them, and that hangs on the camera strap, the rest live in the cases inside the bag

Voted Plastic case, although mine are in Aluminium ones, from 7day IIRC. Manufacturer's label up for empty ones, down for full.

thats far to complecated, i;d screw that system up within minutes! i;ve got a dymo machine and labelled every card in prefered order of use, same with batteries :) saved me getting confuzzled :)

i have a lower pro card holder i htink it takes 12 cards

Is there anything lowepro dont make a bag/pouch/wallet for??? I find myself lookign at their snazzy gear then think hold on.... why do i need that?

There is enough pockets in my mini trekker to hold everythign I have :).

I don't so much "chuck" them in the bag as use the card storage slots in the bag to... uhhh store the cards. :)

I keep a 4GB in the D100, a 4GB in the D200, 8GB CF and 16GB SDHC in the D300s, 8GB SDHCs in the A460s, and the other 4 & 8GB CF cards go in the memory card slots in the bags (Tamrac Cyberpack 6 or Lowepro Slingshot 300 AW).

I like the look of the Vanguard products, but where can I get them in the UK? Their GB site - http://www.vanguardgb.com/ - doesn't list them (as far as I can see) and the only retailers for the memory cases I can find on the net are in the USA.

I actually got mine in TK MAXX a couple of years ago just after Christmas. Was reduced near the checkout. I think it was about £1.50.
An impulse buy as I was not sure of the quality. Once opened I wish I had bought more but they were gone when I returned the next day. :'(
They are superb and if I ever seen another one I will buy. Mine is not exactly as in the link internally as it's an older incanation but looks the same on the outside.

None of the above

I use a Think Tank Pee Wee Pixel Pocket Rocket. Really compact and easy to access, carries far more cards than I could possibly use on a shoot though!!

None of the above for me too!
I have a Lowepro wallet for mine. It has 1 half for CF cards and the other for SD cards. Both sides are full, but I don't have a camera that takes SD cards anymore!!
My camers strap also has a little holder for CF cards so I never forget them!!

Same for me. Stores SD and CF cards and gives me plenty of space. Face up means they are unused, face down means they are used.

I do the same, however I have a couple of SanDisk Large Memory Card Cases.

you missed the throw them on the passenger seat and search for them under the seat next time you've got a shoot on ;)

I use the little black zip keyring pouches you get with Sandisk cards, on my belt. I have a lowepro zipper case/pouch which I'll probably start using again as the cord on the Sandisk pouches is fraying and I can't afford to lose a pouch. I always think that belt pouches look a bit stupid but needs must.

Lowepro Pixel Pack for me, great for keeping in your pocket, no need to search through your bag when you need to swap cards.

Little zip-up cloth bag the Sandisk ones come with - I can get 6 CF cards in each one...
All cards are numbered and mated to their respective cameras, so I know what's what.
16Gb cards means swapping-over mid shoot doesn't often happen any more...

my SD cards get put in a little zip pocket in my camera bag

:eek::lol:

Fair enough, I'm still using a max of 8gb cards. I usually replace them before they're full too, but I wouldn't want to risk having to rip some velcro open in the middle of the church! Interesting point though, that having mahoosive cards overcomes that risk to an extent.

That is actually 2x16Gb cards I hasten to add!

I have no spare cards :p My 1GB card is in my Samsung, my 16GB card is in my netbook, and my 8GB MS card is in my phone :P

I stick unused ones in my camera bag and used ones in my jacket pocket normally
