Hi
I'm sure most of you use vinyl or paper, but I use a 3m x 6m white cotton muslin for a backdrop. My problem is that it creases easily. Its too big to be able to iron on the floor (and its gets too dirty this way) so how do you guys iron it while its hanging?
Thanks

Buy a Steamer!!!! Brilliant for getting the stubborn creases out..

if I want a smooth white background to not fully expose (to knock it to grey), I use paper. Far easier, and the less time I can spend in photoshop the better. You can probably get a roll for the same as a steamer will cost you...

Know of any cheap places online?
Thanks

Paper is best if it's not going to be blown out.

If you use muslin backgrounds you don't need to iron or steam them, in fact you don't even need a woman to do it for you:)

Just clamp the edges to the support frame, stretching the fabric tight, and tape the bit that goes on the floor TO the floor, again stretching it tight.

If you're still not happy, spray the surface with water from a plant sprayer.

Nkp is correct a steamer, hang it and give it a blast of steam, wallpaper stripper is good if you have one!

Hi there
I dont have a frame support as I've hung it from the walls (on elastic so it has some give and doesnt rip if someone stands on it in the wrong place), so I guess I could MASKING TAPE the cotton to the walls?
Does JUST spraying it with water from a plant sprayer really straighten it though?
Thanks!
