Do you take any precautions when taking your camera and lenses from your nice warm homes outside into the cold to take pictures, especially this time of year?

Any advice appreciated:)

Thanks...Alex

No, it's not that cold really. It's the cold to warm that causes condensation you want to worry about.

well it will happen when you go back inside from being outside...just keep some silica gel in your camera case when you put your lens and cam body away, i usually just gently wipe any condensation off the lens with my dress lol, lens is as good as ever!

Put your camera in a plastic bag when entering a warm room and let it warm up in the bag.
I believe the condensation will then be on the bag and not
the camera.
I can,t vouch for it as i have never had the need to do it.
