Isn't the clue in the name? "Camera Bag"

That'll be a camera then, and some lenses, and some miscellaneous crap such as spare cards / filters / batteries.

Camera, lenses, lens cloth, sd cards, battery, money, Lip salve, wet wipes, sweets, handbook, mobile phone, tissues, sunglasses, I pod,let me think what else

far to much! but it varies from job to job really

Always:

Camera + tamron 17-50
70-200
flash

The either a 100mm macro if I'm going for a walkaround, 85mm f/1.8 if doing low-light/portrait stuff, or Tamron 11-18 if I'm doing landscapey things.

Then 2 extra batteries, another memory card, and a polarising filter.

Add ipod and headphones, and it's time very well spent

lumix fz7

erm...thats it...

usually the camera is in my pocket or around my neck tucked inside my fleece

For upcoming trip...

Camera, Lenses, Charger, Laptop & Many Leads, Flashgun, Battery charger, Wireless triggers, Memory cards, Sensor Cleaning tool. Think thats it :)

As title What do you carry in your camera bag ?

lipstick, bottle of water, some money, business cards for networking with, a pen, face wipes.

My cameras are in my hands when I'm working :D

My 450D with 28-135mm lens attached, 2 Spare batteries - fully charged - "Nifty Fifty", 3 Kenko extension tubes, and 70-300mm IS USM lens.

No need to carry extra cards as have 16Gb card in camera.

Whip, gag, restraints, you know, the usual stuff ...

Erm, camera with 18-105, 55-200, spare battery, couple of
memory cards, few filters, white balance lens cap thingie..

Its only a little bag, i dont like carting a lot of stuff about..

.

depends on the job, and which bag :p

my little day out or weekend away bag has body 3 primes spare cards battery and cleaning cloth good for 1500 shots ish (trips can get extended)

I have a big think tank bag that takes a lot more kit and that gets loaded differently depending on where I'm going and why:
On loop trips its body with 70-200 and maybe a wide prime then LOADS of food with jumpers in the front pocket and 2L+ of water and a flask.
Jobs where I'm strobisting it up then lightstands and umbrellas on the side softbox in the front, pop up diffusers/reflectors and a lot of flashes with several types of tape (lifesaver), triggers, brackets, gels and usually an oat bar and water bottle. + body primes and 70-200
Studio stuff is same as above but with the lightstands removed (flashes are good fall backs but lightstands can go in with the studio kit bag (rented).
Landscapes I'll consider ditching the 70-200, put buff gloves and munchies in the bag.

At all times the big bag has batteries cards tissues lens pen a small pharmacy sterile salene capsule (I have a massive thing about eyes) small torch penknife/multitool tea spare business cards talk urbex calling cards and backup batteries for transmitters and recievers

Everything you see in my sig, less the tripod, and plus a few other odds and ends, memory cards, lenspen, etc.

Pretty much my signature really, but anyway here goes.

If I'm going out on a planned trip, I'll lob in an MP3 player and headphones along with anything else I think I might need - different maps, kneeling pad(s), 150-500mm, tripod etc. I try to keep sarnies and cans out of the camera bag - I like drinks to be as cold as possible (condensation) and sarnies tend to shed crumbs. If I feel I might want/need the extra apparent reach or avoid lens changes, I'll take the trusty old D70 along with the D700. They share batteries and memory cards.

My camera bag has never left my house as I'm yet to take my new camera out. Does that make me a bad person? :D

I have a rolling case coz I is a girlie and can't carry it all ;)

But it depends what I'm doing. Some days one body, one lens. Other days two bodies, 5 lenses 2 flashes and a video light. Sometimes I just have the little Leica that lives in my handbag.

Nah, that's body armour - which I don't carry.

Leatherman folding secateurs and bar towels are my other mainstay of non camera stuff.

Hope you are careful with deet. My 10D was sold with my fingerprint etched into the shutter button from having deet on my fingers!

Tis fairly nasty stuff - i used to wear a casio wristwatch on ops until the bug juice etched the polycarbonate lens opaque - you should also see what it does to the plastic furniture on weapons...
It was quite fun in Afghan to watch all the new kids wiping thier issued sunglasses with sweaty (and fully repellent-soaked) hands and wondering why they were suddenly blind...lol
