First roll of 35 for over 20 years shot, its a 44yr old spottie and made a grinding noise every time I wound it on .................in for processing

Mine makes a bit of grinding sound when winding on. Occasionally it jams up then needs some gentle nudges to get going again.

It's probably winding the film on o.k.

If it doesn't have sentimental value get another one if it seizes up....film cameras are cheap
