Liver and Onions, but I just could not eat it :( missus loved hers though :)
 
I made cheats chicken paella
 
Homemade beer battered cod fillets...fooking lovely. A good friend of mine is the first brewer at a local brewery so I get it all at staff discount :D makes for interesting meals with trying different ales/lagers for different batter mixes
 
Had a very long & busy day so will be having a takeaway of the oriental variety

Don't do Bacon, think it was something to do with seeing a live one close up in a pen. Knowing the poor sod was going to be butchered and gobbled up. It had human like eyes, so it was a little spooky :eek: could not eat one after that...

I think it was the texture of the Liver that put me off, and I used to like it years ago, dog ate mine. I ended up with a bowl of cornflakes :)

Yep add bacon, but by doing that, by the nature of the beast, you then have to add more liver (y)
 
Piece of Chicken and a handful of oven chips, nice and simple. Seeing the oven was on, I decided to make a cake. Fruit cake smells lovely :)
 
I have some bread rolls in the oven which I will have warm with some butter & a selection of paté & cheese
 
Was at a friends for a huge 3-families Pre-Christmas feast.
Charcuterie, pate and cheese to start, then chicken and duck with potatoes, parsnips, carrots and French beans, followed by pavlova and chocolate cake.
We had to catch our train before the cheese...
 
I missed my usual Saturday bacon butties at lunch/dinner time so made up for it later with bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans, black pudding, fried bread and toast.
 
Having set my heart(burn!) on a Chinese takeaway but discovering that my favourite one is no longer doing Chinese (just a chippy now :(), I had a curry delivered. Got enough left over for tea tonight as well.

Todays lunch/dinner will be roast beef with all the trimmings.
 
Something with spuds tonight, got them peeled. Now what to put with them :thinking:
 
Today's lunch/dinner was a delicious smoked haddock and prawn bake with chips and peas.
 
Probably end up with Chips beans and egg :(

Mash'em up, throw in some greens and "Voi la" Bubble and squeak and don't forget the fried egg ( or two) on top (y)

Going to open a tin of something, feeling lazy so first thing I grab out of cupboard. Just hope I don't get the tin of Custard :p

Last nights dinner was Roast Chicken and chips, and a lovely lemon Soufflé that I made myself. Some Soufflé left over, so looking forward to that tonight :)
 
Mature cheddar (although it was sticking its tongue out at me until I attacked it with the wire!) and mayonnaise sarnie. Hoping that Mrs Nod is going to get creative later for tea/supper/dinner!

Not only did Mrs Nod pay for my Diesel fuel but she also offered to make me a fish pie for me dinner, so I got some undyed smoked haddock and a couple of scallops to make it my ideal one! Can smell it poaching as I type.
