What Did You Have For Dinner Today?

Well at least I wont have to put the heating on once that lot starts to make it's way through my system :D

Rib-eye steak with a little rocket salad and chips, served with a small pot of freshly made horseradish sauce. Had a hankering for a steak for a few days but today was the first chance for me to partake!

A bit embarrassing maybe to admit this, but I have a tin of Beans a few Potatoes that are in a sorry looking state, and some corned beef that has been opened. I think I can knock these three ingredients together, and make a tasty wholesome meal. There is plenty of meat in the freezer, but can't be bothered. My little take on Corned Beef Hash, going to become this evenings meal :)

Hmmm... Or should that be yummmmmm?! Beans on toast with corned beef topping, possibly with the corned beef just warmed through in a frying pan and maybe topped with grated cheddar?

Pork Chop, Hash Brown type things, Tinned Tommy's (I love em), and Peas & Sweet Corn mixed for me today. "Just the job".(y)

George.

No I am going with the Corned Beef Hash, peeled the spuds they were OK after all. Spuds on a low light, Beans ready to throw in pan, Corned Beef ready to be mixed into the Spuds. Should be ready pretty soon, hungry so we are eating early ...:)

Corned Beef Hash,
Not had that in ages, I think that has to go on the menu for sometime soon :)

But for tonight, Gammon steak, chips, pineapple, fried tomatoes and an egg on top to round it off.
I'm just about to start cooking

It is very filling and a perfect choice for a cold miserable day like today. Best get back in the kitchen, I can hear those spuds bubbling away :D

PS
I have burned many a meal, especially the toast while twaddling on here :runaway:

Send the compensation claim form, to the same address as your membership form and fee, and we'll consider it :D

No idea yet. Llamawoman is out tonight so I have free rein... but also no enthusiasm so it might be a takeaway.

Its OK, the Beans were catching at the bottom of the pan, but I saved them. Besides we like it when they go thick, turned out nice really. :p

Banana goes under custard not curry :D
Too bloody right, I can't begin to imagine what a banana curry must taste like!

Went for a Sainsbury's moussaka - exactly the kind of thing I can't be bothered to make just for myself. Roasting some baby spuds to go with it.
Will now have a nice pint of Porter whilst it cooks (I really fancy a sherry but an oversight means I have none in the fridge), and a glass of red wine to go with dinner.
Might roll the boat out and round the night off with a Belgian beer or a whisky.
Well, it IS the weekend :D

Sweet and salted popcorn and chocolate brownie ice cream....

...not together, obviously...

Going to be cooking bacon, egg, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes shortly, with bread and butter to mop it all up :D

I can be there in 20 mins

Homemade lasagne and garlic bread with a little potato salad (also homemade).

Homemade lasagne is the best, definitely on my list to make again once oven is sorted Monday

It's in the oven if you're quick lol

So Chris comes to mine for bacon and eggs, I'll grab the Donuts and his car and head to yours...sorted lol

Musical munchies.

You can all b****r off - the pizza's mine, I tell you. MINE!!! :P

Beef and Beansprouts again tonight, had to use up the last of the Beansprouts. Might do a Steak sandwich sometime, provided I can get a nice piece of meat..

First day of advent is 29th November :)
It is this year, but as we both know its not a fixed date, and can be anywhere between the 27th Nov. and 3rd of Dec.
Why do advent calenders start on the 1st and end on the 24th?
Does that mean 25th is irrelevant?
