What Did You Have For Dinner Today?

Got a Lamb Balti for the missus, and I am going to have a piece of Roast Chicken. Getting the boiled rice done soon, and wondering if I can swipe some of the curry sauce from my missus Balti :thinking:
 
Just nick a couple of spoonsfull before delivering hers to her!

Delicious smell of assorted veggie curries coming from the kitchen. However, they're for tomorrow's tea. Todays dinner (well, lunch!!!) was a smoked cheddar sarnie on brown, seeded bread.

Managed to swipe a couple of spoonfuls, delicious it was. Just finished it now, going to do the washing up now :(
 
I have a fairy that does that... :whistling:
 
I buy my fairy some Fairy and the dirty dishes reappear on the draining rack. I might occasionally squeeze the fairy but rarely the Fairy... Unless I've indulged in excessive snacking and need to hide the evidence!

I had the last of the homemade chicken tikka earlier on with my own aloo ghobi (potato and caiuliflower vegetable curry) -delicious!
 
Some sort of cod and parsley sauce fishcake with stir fry veg and cheese coleslaw.... won't be getting it again (fishcake)

yep gets my vote, has to be on creamy mash potatoes..Missus hates it, so I tend not to bother now :(

Hates mash or fish? the fishcake was pants, really tasteless and it looked so promising too

That sounds yummy, I wish I'd gone for some nice fish instead, I tend not to cook much if the kids are not here but tonight I really fancied something nice lol

It is Yummy, I used to have it served with boiled rice, foo young, and sweet and sour Chicken. All hand made by myself, and not out of a tin :)

Had prawn & crayfish tails on a couple of ciabatta rolls for lunch.

Had a BIG mixed kebab on a naan bread for tea. (with salad, so much healthier)

Undecided on supper, yet. :D

I am stuffing my gob with toast and extra strong punchy Cheese, or so the label says. Very nice it is too, cat and Dog been fed, missus opted out of Supper, still stuffed from the Curry earlier. So we are all happy and content :)
 
Had a lovely Italian yesterday, Pasta Chicken and Broccoli. At our local Italian, very nice it was too.
 
Gammon steak with potato wedges fried egg and peas and I didnt need to cook for a change.

I cooked curry 4 ways for 90 on Friday.

As I understand it, "Curry" was developed, or at least very hot spices were added to a meal, in hot countries, to disguise the taste of rotting, or at the very least past its use by date.

That joke could do with some very hot spices too, :p
 
It was lentilled to me many years ago so it is almost certainly past its best before date but not the use by. ..

Lamb samosas
Selection chicken pakora
Onion bhaji
