What did you buy at Focus on Imaging?

Hi there - CameraWorld seemed very popular as did Calumet - bought an 85mm Canon lens there [no not that one] plus a bag - a Retrospective 5 ThinkTank bag {Premier } and LR4 from CameraWorld. Also tried out a 3leggedThing tripod - not cheap and had run out of money by then - but very clever engineering. My partner picked up a G15 from CameraWorld £50 cheaper than anywhere else with a free case.... O and picked up my 'L' at the RPS - chuffing!

I got a refillable ink system for the Epson 3000 printer and some very nice fine art paper.

Picked up a canon 16-35, I wanted the 8-15 fisheye as well but seeing as the only canon sellers there are calumet, cameraworld and 1st camera (who had neither lens with them) the other 2 were not prepared to move on price and the 8-15 is a fair bit cheaper elsewhere so I just bought the one lens which was £10 cheaper than the best price on camera price buster and they were throwing in a UV filter at cameraworld for the same price as calumet.

Canon cash back starts soon and they have brought it forward for purchases made at Focus on imageing.

Manfrotto 410 head £119 from Calumet - not bad. Need new legs now

Lee 82mm adapter £40 - nothing amazing but nice and easy

Canon 16-35 II - turned out to be defective junk (the one I tried in local store was even worse), now returned for a refund and now left with a useless 82mm adapter.

I am toying with the idea of going on Wednesday again to try spending the cash again

A second RC2 QR plate for tripod £12

Also bought a Blackrapid Sport strap (for work)

I managed to pick up a few bits. Olympus 60mm F2.8 Macro for £301 (at least £98 cheaper than online), Lowepro PhotoHatchback, Perfect Photosuite 7 LR edition and a bunch of Lee Seven5 filters to use with my OMD to replace the 100mm versions I had for my Canon gear (100mm versions the gradations are too large for the smaller lenses of my OMD)

All in all a good day and a lot of money saved! All the places I got stuff from I bartered the prices down no issues at all! :)

T'was me. To be fair, to get it for £50 I had to buy something else so got a blower and cleaning kit for a tenner that my mate who was with me wanted. They'd run out of base caps for lenses

A canon ef-s 15-85mm from Calumet for £340 so I was pleased with that even though I wasn't intending to buy anything.

If you'd bought the standard reflector from Lencarta as well, you would have saved £1:)

A 3LT t-shirt that came with a free Brian tripod and a book a flash photography that was only £5, oh and the zenfolio £1 for 3 months deal

A new in box Paterson developing tank, a thermometer, a film squeegee and a measuring jug oh and a filter remover tool all from the disabled photographers stand and for the princely sum of £7 in total.

I bought a honeycomb grid for my Lencarta beauty dish.

I bought from Calumet a Nikon 35mm Lens for £115.

Bit new to photography so this was the only thing I was wanting to pick up if they had it for a good price.

Damned expensive those T-shirts! ;) I bought a 'Keith' which is bloody awesome for its size and weight.

I also bought an EOS650D and a grip from Pixel-pro, some flash gels, memory cards and a few other bits!

The 650D was sort of an impulse purchase because I wanted a camera I could take to work with me and not have to worry about my 5DMKIII getting pinched. I wasn't expecting great things from it but so far I've been very pleasantly surprised! :)

A Karl Taylor DVD and a backdop. Everything else I tested and then got from Amazon or Ebay.

Like all of these shows, they rarely have good offers now.

One example is a Tamrac case I was looking at, £60 show price. £25 on Amazon- Thank god for smart phones.
