hi i got a background and lightin studio for xmas and wasnt happy witht he creases in the muslin evan after a good iron its also really c through so i botrt a white vinyl backdrop.... take my photos n my house and its on carpet and this dusnt work on th carpet as u get creases and dents in backdrop...

i was wonderin what i could use underneath it o evan heard people uein clear plastik board over the top so heels can b worn over it? would this affect the photo tho if it was over the top maybe causin reflections off flash or lights.... would sumthing b better underneath ?

You really do need a spell checker, text speech doesn't look good on a forum. under your vinyl on the floor just use a square of hardboard, if you want to put plastic on the top it will need to be very hard wearing or it will soon get scratched from shoes etc.

Sarah - If its on a carpeted surface you may always struggle with creases as son as someone stands on it.

I have used a product called corex ( a twinwall board used for temp protection of building work) available from the builders merchants, as its white and very cheap not to mention robust (about £4 a sheet)
Just watch out for slipping though!!

Thankyou that's very helpfull.... Great price aswell! So I cud just put this under the vinyl aswell so it didn't crease? But also ontop for the use of chairs or shoes so the vinyl didn't get damaged? Thanks
