What courier company do you trust to delivery your mounted prints to customers ?

Is there any to avoid

Avoid Hermes at all costs! Apart from that, a lot might depend on your packing skills ...

Can't say who I trust as a sender but as a receiver I like DPD as they give a time for delivery and give constant updates.

I've worked in logistics for years, you would be surprised at how many touch points your parcel will have as it travels through a logistics network.
Wrap it impeccably and use twice as much packing as you think is necessary, label your parcel clearly and ensure it can't come off, your customer will thank you for it :-)

At work we see a huge amount of damaged or unidentified items that have been sent with insufficient packing or not labelled correctly by senders.

From a customer experience point of view DPD are good as they provide plenty of updates and information to the recipient. As a private sender Hermes are ok, on price they're hard to beat and their large network of drop points in corner shops makes them very convenient, I can't remember what their default insurance value is but I'm sure you can up it to a higher amount if required.

One thing people often forget....ALWAYS have a return address on your parcel :-)

I need to look into this more myself.
Parcel force worked ok.
Yodel, I have used about 8 times and had to claim compensation for late deliveries on every occasion so cannot trust my business to them again.
When receiving deliveries I echo others in appreciating updates and text messages from DPD - as I'm sure my clients would.

Very nice, have you works out what it costs per print including paper and ink all in? Do you print with a boarder then mount it on an A3 board and then place a cardboard mount over the top? Sorry for so many questions, I'm just interested as I'm considering doing some myself.

I do prints with a border, thou can do without border too.

For printing I use a Canon Pro1 - its worth the ink usage and miles cheaper than getting prints done on same paper.

Paper I use Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique

350-1 Logan Compact Elite Mat Cutter
