What CF card? Are the cheap ones cheap for a reason?

I've always used Extreme III 4GB with no problems, just recently I bought a couple of Duracell 8 GB's from 7dayshop which have been fine it's also useful to have more capacity for shooting RAW files.

when i first bought my camera i had a cheap jessops 4GB CF card and i started taking pictures and the very next day the card was corrupted and then a few months ago i bought a sandisk CF card and it is as fast as hell even though i don't need the speed it's nice to know i can confidently fire off a few shots without waiting!
