What can you do to this image?

I've seen many stunning images on here and on Flickr and have wondered how much processing has gone into the image. A group on Flickr shows before and after processing shots and it surprised me how a rubbish photo can be turned into a winner with some carefull processing.

It's not the best image, but does anyone want to show off their editing skills with the image below?

I can email raw file if you want it.
