What bit of kit wouldn't you sell?

No
For me it would be my 1d mk3.

I have better, newer cameras, with twice the number of megapixels and much better focus systems. However from time to time an event comes up where this is the perfect tool for the job and it performs faultlessly. The shots it takes are still great and I love the colours it produces. Seeing the prices of these drop, mine is just too valuable to me to punt on for peanuts, so I'll be keeping it thank you very much.

What about you?

all my kit...

however.. a better question.. what kit do you not use much but wouldnt sell.. that would be my canon 135 f2 ... hardly use it but its so pin sharp at f2 i cant part wiht it

Im the same my 135 f2 is the lens I use the least but yet the shots I take with it are always my favourite ........ Work that out lol

Olympus AF-1 that my wife bought me as an engagement present in 1987.
Everything else has a price and no nostalgic attachment to any of them

None of it, I don't really buy kit on a whim as such all of it has uses to me, some kit I don't use very often, but it's great to know I've got it available to me when I want to use it...such as my 8mm fish eye, I absolutly love that lens although its a really specialist lens that isn't suitable for a lot of people and uses but for me it's brilliant

Infact I use that lens so rarely that often I'll lend it to friends to have a play with

I'm another,....................... 135mm f/2

I can't quite bring myself to sell my D300s (as it's taken so many wonderful photos) & Tamron 17-50 depsite going FF. I've ended up teaching my GF how to use it so she can use it when we go out, thus giving me an excuse for keeping it :-)

My porter. I wouldn't even lend her to anyone!!! ;)

Ive sold plenty of kit over the last year or so for a few different reasons, so havent really got a lot left to sell :D

Absolutely loving my little Fuji X20 though, so im hoping that life doesnt get in the way of my photography anymore, meaning that I have to sell that too :shifty:

My Taylor GS Mini Mahogany.

Oh, cameras. It's all disposable.

I'll sell just about anything depending on the time, my needs/wants ... I don't tend to get overly attached to gear. I'd have a very hard time selling my D800E though, it would either mean I'm upgrading to better ... or more likely, that I'm in need of cash and possibly downgrading. In that case, I would have to be on the bread line completely before doing so

My tripod. Had it for around 20 years. It's the only piece of equipment that hasn't become obsolete or broken. Don;t care about the rest... cameras are just like white goods these days. Boring.

Some of my rare minolta lenses as they aren't replaceable very easy.

Well, at some point I will replace the D700, I guess the 24-70 Nikon lens would be irreplaceable though so probably that.

Or, maybe my Rolleicord Va, lovely camera.

My latest lens Nikon Nikkor Micro AF-S 40mm f/2.8

Most digital stuff (inc lenses) seems very much replaceable to me. Don't think I've had any of my digital stuff for more than a couple of years.

Will likely keep my OM1's, OM lenses and Bronica SQAi until I'm icy cold though.

I still have my first camera which I got when I was 10, it's a Kodak Instamatic. I think I'll always keep it even though I haven't used it for many many years.

Other than that my Minolta and Olympus and FD lenses are lovely but they'll probably fail one day and become useless lumps and my aging Panasonic G1 will no doubt die one day. Only that Kodak will remain as an unused but loved item though and all else will eventually be sold or binned.

I was so determined to buy a 200mm f2, and made such a fuss about it - that I suspect I would be in trouble with my wife if I decided to sell it :) so that's unlikely at this time ..heh

I'm a hoarder so the answer is none of it:)

I wouldn't sell: X100.

I rarely use but still wouldn't sell: 85mm f1.8, goes so well with x100 and it's also pin sharp. But the bulk of 5D prevents it to be used as often as I like, because if I'm bringing the DSLR, might as well put 70-200 on it.

Indeed, it is too good to sell. So versatile, so simple to use and easy to carry.

I have a polaroid land ranger which I don't use much due to cost of film but it's absolutely stunning bit of history of photography and I would get peanuts if I were to sell it! And using it from time to time is great fun.
Same goes with my om1 and 35mm f/3.5 it's got more value on a shelve in my house than on ebay!

Just to be clear, I do use them from time to time, my house isn't a museum...

None of it at this point, it's all current gear so none isn't replaceable. I guess my most valued would be my 35 art but I've only just got that :p

My Sony RX100 could honestly do without the rest if i had to.

I have various lenses that I don't use very often that I'm too lazy to sell at the moment. And no, I won't give them away to you :p

But in terms of indispensible kit, I'd say my handstrap. I hate neck straps with a passion, so tend to use a handstrap. If anything I could do with a few more for different bodies.

My canon 24-70 f2.8. Even though I'm shooting mainly prime these days it's such a good lens to fall back on for most situations :)
