What bag do you have to carry your Sigma 50-500 OS?

Yes
I have a Billingham 307 but this lens does not fit. What bag do you use? Thanks

Tamrac Rally 7 and Tamrac Rally 5 (just!). There's also a Canon 5D3 or 60D in there, as well as as much other 'stuff' as I can manage.

For general carryout out and about a Lowepro Slingshot 302 AW, for storage the Tamrac expedition 8

I've got a Tamrac Super Pro 14 shoulder bag and a Tamrac Expedition 9x rucksack. I can get 2 gripped bodies, one with a Sigma 150-500 OS and one with a Sigma 24-70 USM attached, 7 other lenses including a Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS MkII, a couple of flash guns and straps, cards etc.

I think either one of my bags would be overkill for a 5D2 and 50-500 but they do lots of different sizes in the same models. The bags are extremely well made and are huge but they are comfortable to carry.

I don't have my 150-500 any more but when I did and carried it around, I carried it in the supplied case. One of the bigger LowePro sliplock cases (or similar) may take it and (as in the case of the Sliplock) might have decent attachments to keep it on the main bag.

I had the same bag, with a 1Dmkiii body and could get it in mounted to the body no problem , you may have to look at how you have your dividers arranged...its a cavernous bag, I have had all of this in mine

Have only just upgraded to a Think Tank Streetwalker Pro as I wanted to have a mounted 300mm f/2.8

I own the Sigma, and have used the Canon from time to time. I found the Canon to be faster to focus, but having gotten used to the Sigma rotating to zoom in and out, I found the canon's push-pull zoom a pain to use. I figured that was probably something I could get used to over time.
