What are you working on?

I'm just getting back to an idea I was working on ages ago, about how people express themselves using their hands, just started finding a group of people to do it with, and hopefully will get a whole series of shots like this:

Interesting idea! be sure to post your results.

Us northerners think everyone in London is a millionaire, perhaps you're just not a multi-enough-millionaire as yet then ???

In which case, my wife won't be interested!

She (we) love staying in the Bond street area and although we've done the Savoy & Ritz, Claridges wins every time for me - and GM's restaurant there is the dog's Bs too

Just wish we could afford to stay/live down there - but as my 4 bed detached with a double garage and decent garden would only buy us the shed down your way - I guess we'll stick to weekend trips :)

i live in an old warehouse with cracks in the walls and no heat.

so Yorkshire is up north then?

I'm not sure. Street furniture and the like has restricted the viewpoints I can get on the scene, and the structure the original was taken from has since been levelled. I guess I just want to make sure I can get a good shot out of it before I ask her if she wants to come down. I haven't been too inspired by my test shots:

Oh dear - looks like it's changed completely

Yep - straight up the M1/A1 - and when your £1 coin buys you more than a latte - you're probably here, or close at least

I drink espresso it makes you ride faster.

now, all i need is a day with no work, and good weather and i'm heading up.

Wrong way dude, Liverpool is where you need to be :)

Ah Liverpool

Where your £1 will be nicked way before it exits your pocket

But at least someone will be around to capture the theft in full HDR

My current addiction is night photos using gels. Hoping to go back to a combine harvester scrapyad soon to do some lightpainting. Also, am excited about building my light tent this weekend to attempt some product style shots :)

dont know if anyone has ever noticed that strip clubs have some of the best signs.

lol well I don't do projects I'm either taking snap shots of my son or taking photos for someone else

I bet it creases badly m8 - best not to move around much eh ???

A project NOT work related eh ???

Errrrrr...

There are a few club competitions that aren't exactly my normal stuff, so if I find time to enter those that'll be a project of sorts

The next one we have is portraiture, which I tend to win with shots of kids from the studio - so I've set myself a project to shoot a completely un-DD portrait for the comp, and someone's let me down twice now - so it looks like I won't be entering this time as I swore not to enter another tot-shot

I do have work related projects, which I love experimenting with too and haven't mastered (or got even close!) as yet

And a passport... Yorkshire has declared itself an independant state and only true born Yorkshire folk will be allowed to live there. I'm hoping they repatriate the 2 tight-fisted, miserable, whinging bu**ers who work with me. :D:D:D

Couple of things I've got buzzing in my head (Mrs says she has some pills for it though....:D)

I want to get up to York and photograph the Halifax that's up there. I'm not a big aviation fan, but my Dad flew them during the war and I'd like to get a decent "keeper" for the wall.

I'm off down to St Mawgan in Cornwall for a long weekend at the end of November, I'm hoping to get some strong photo's of the rugged coastline.

We have the shoot with Garry Edwards coming up, and I have a couple of ideas I'd like to try that involve a model, not a lot of light, and maybe some baby oil.......

The other thing I MUST do is organise a shoot with both my car & my bike. I have to find the right place but seeing as they're both red & black I'm sure I can make it work...

I'm currently doing a project combining music and photography. My project is to base a series of shoots on the same song and see how the different models, make-up artists and location form a totally different interpretation for the song. Then the aim is to put it all together on my website eventually. For the moment I've starting doing the shoots and having a lot of fun with it. Finding it really interesting to work with the models involved and see how they perform and interpret the direction given, and also how the make-up artist is inspired to do the make-up.

I like music. I like photography. It all just seemed to make sense :)

I am writing a technical article on jet engines which involves having pictures explaining what the bits do.

No prizes.

Hi I am new to digital photography and am going to have a go at high key portraits. Always wanted to but with film it gets a tad costly to experiment and keeping records of what you have done is a chore. now I can experiment to my hearts desire. Also have just finished helping build my son a huge workshop which has plain white walls, so there is my studio. Havent told him yet though.
