I've just finished One Bullet Away by Nathaniel Fick which is about a college graduate who joined the US Marines Officer Training School and is an account of his life during that period and his experiences in Afghanistan and Iraq with the marines Recon division. A fascinating, well written account of a modern day officer who has to balance the needs of his men, commanding them and his own fears. I can highly recommend it.

I've just read Understanding Exposure which whilst it wasn't ground-breaking did teach me a couple of tricks and re-affirmed my understanding of certain things. I'm halfway through The Hotshoe Diaries which hasn't lived up to the hype for me and I've just baught a copy of The Black and White Handbook to help with my developing and printing.

The Solitary Man by Stephen Leather, thank the lord for Tesco's cheap books, because I read a lot of books:)

The Heroin Diaries by Tommy Lee
That was by Nikki, not Tommy, and is sat on my shelf waiting to be read. "The Dirt" is well worth a read as well if you've not already done so, it's a miracle those guys are still alive!!
Currently reading Pattern Recognition by William Gibson, a cracking bit of cyberpunk :)
