A long weekend beckons!!!

What do you have planned for the weekend, seeing as the weather looks OK (Dry & reasonably warm in Sth East)?

Taking my son to a 5yo birthday party Sat AM, may go to Old Warden eveing airshow that night. Sunday off for a Family Day at the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket. As the weather is good may head to Nene Valley Railway on Monday or just have a lazy day at home and a trip to the pub.

Decorating, mostly. Just had my hallway plastered and it should be dried out by then, so a whitewash coat on all of it before the decent emulsion goes on.

Now I should be doing that sort of stuff. Retreat decking, clear garage, little jobs round the house but can't find enthusiasm.

Fencing (not the sword kind), decking and whatever else she can think of.

What ever I can get away with when the OH is not pestering me to do jobs :suspect: but mostly garden and allotment. Oh and hopefully taking William to see Iron Man 3 as he is desperate to see it

On sunday / Monday I'm wobbling my way over to a battle re-enactment in Notts :)

Photography, is there anything else

Les :lol::lol::lol:

Going to see a bloke in Cheam about some sort of machine he's invented, he's having some teething problems with it at the moment though.

I work at a boarding school, so no time off for me, but hopefully my husband will get home for Sunday, in which case we will be off to the Upton on Severn folk festival - good music, fine ale and hundreds of Morris dancers - and obviously we will have dog and camera with us :-)

Having my gall bladder out

I'm guessing Jon wins,
unless we have an advance on a "gall bladder" removal? :D

Good luck with it BTW

Ta! Not sure if I'll be able to photograph the event, or if they'll let me keep it in a bottle or something, but I'm bloody glad my turn has come around at last. And it gets me out of cleaning the greenhouse, so lots of win. :)

Saturday off for a day in Wales looking for a few moody shots, so weather not a problem. Taking the other half and puppy dog.

Sunday another photography course to push my skills.

Sorry, can't quote on iPod - the good wishes refer to the operation.

I will be mostly not going to work.

Steve.

Got by the swear filter I see!

Whitby, Pickering and Thornton Dale, with the camera! Oh, and my Mrs.

Working Friday, Staurday, Sunday having to put up with brainless tourists. If it's photo friendly weather on the Monday I have a Ffestiniog Railway gala to attend, so again having to dodge brainless tourists!

Brands Hatch on Sunday, Monday will be spent watching the BTCC and WTCC races I will have recorded on Sunday.

Taking my RS2000 to the thoresby classic car show.

Working saturday and sunday, though I'll be out in a field watching for meteor showers sunday night

Standing in a field testing a new camera (to me) out. The fact some BSB bikes will be going past is a bonus.

:In the caravan at a power station , Flyball racing :D:D:D:D:D

Home Sunday and Monday, Big BBQ weekend celebrating Easter with family and friends, 20+ most staying for the whole weekend.

Camping, in a tent that I bought and have not checked if it's a tent yet, but the excitement will be fun when it comes out of the bag. (Bought secondhand)

Can't wait!

The bank holiday is today here. Just back from the beach where I had a lovely brunch in the sunshine. Gonna chill out and watch some recorded TV this afternoon, Game of Thrones and The Following. Out for some tapas with friends this evening.

Burning rubber round Sussex and Kent, avoiding people in general, maybe some Virtues Last Reward on the Vita and some cooking I reckon.

Going to Greece for a week, starting tonight. :D:wave:

Kalo taxithi!

We might be heading up the M5 and along the M4 a little way to look at an XK8 convertible for my wife.

Might have to change our name to Prescott!!!

Parakalo.

Going to Cheltenham to (hopefully) watch Northampton Town qualify for the League Two Play Off at Wembley later in the month

My weekend began today......

...and it's a wedding training session at Bartle Hall tomorrow with Gary Hill and Jen Brook, followed Friday by a trip into Manchester for a meal and drinks with friends....not sure what the rest of it will bring!

Detailing a car for a friend on Saturday chilling on Sunday and a quick clean up before the wife gets home ;)
