What are we all doing this bank holiday weekend?

Cadwell BSB, :)

Weather permitting (looks unlikely) we will be joining relatives on Ingoldmells beach one day over the weekend. Good chance for me to get some candids of my niece and nephew :) Other than that I don't really know  maybe find a show or something somewhere to attend.

i'd love to be going to cadwell BSB but will watch it on the box instead. entertaining my 2 small lads will take most of the time.

Oh, and if I can get to the post office in the nanosecond the parcels office is open on Saturdays I hope to be picking up new toys for the camera.

...new toys eh  ... come on spill the beans :D

Day off Friday to sort out the house
Working Saturday
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - London to see Norah Jones   (Monday night)and the rest of the time is for sight seeing/playing with the camera.

On Sunday morning I'm taking my son to the local Bird of Prey centre. I've got him booked up for the morning flying the birds & generally having a "hands on time". Hopefully he'll have a good time and come home with all his fingers :D

Oh , I'll probably take the camera with me :whistling:

Hmmmm chester zoo on saturday, sunday, monday working 13 hour days, tuesday sorting house and packing for a few days away at my mums.

Meeting up with some clients on Saturday afternoon, playing some rugby, looking after the little one and then, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing.

sitting in waiting for the (surely inevitable) phone call to go off and do amazingly exciting things in fabulous places with gorgeous and glamourous people.

I'm going to visit my family :) It's a shame i'm going to visit them though when they live in the middle of the country, and i'm by the sea! especially seeing as it's going to be unusually sunny this weekend!

I've got a walk in the Yorkshire Dales planned if the weather stays nice. Might take some pictures of some sheep or something

IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT THE POSTIE BRINGS!

If he brings Nothing tomorrow // Sat then I'll be formatting my laptop and chasing up some moneys.

If he brings my sealing foam I'll be taking lots of time to re-seal my RB67.

If he brings Bioshock (computer game) I'll be playing that.

If he brings my new processor I'll be installing that.

If he brings documents pertaining to work I'll be shuffling them to one side and doing one of the above

Irregardless of what he brings I'll be going to the market Sunday morning and spending the rest of the day relaxing in the sun

Monday will be back to work, I don't do bank holidays

I be shooting images at Manchester Pride Festival/Parade on Saturday, with nothing planed for Sunday and Monday

So I'll see you down at Thruxton on Saturday or Sunday then mate:thumbs:

You can't say I didn't offer;)

I have 3 weeks off work now :woot: although I'll be spending the BH weekend recovering from my op I had yesterday :(

I'm doing Lydden on Monday :D

Haha, see you there then, I managed to black male the boss into letting me have it off, since he left me in the crap all week.

relaxing as I'm broke til tuesday.

Bloody banks and their stupid cheque clearing systems.

So expect plenty of photo's from around bath and many, many macros from the field down the road lol.

Pumping Iron.

If It's sunny I'll snap some pics If not, I;ll probably be staying In.

Oh yeah and watching some quality boxing on Sentanta Sports.

Well my weekend has started amazingly. I was all set to go to cadwell this morning, went to pick up my camera back and pulled/trapped something in my back. I have been lying down for a good part of the day. Not happy to say the least as the weather has been awesome. Back seems a little batter now, but i currently have restricted movement :shake:

What am I doing now,...

I'm sat on the couch at 04:47 on Sunday morning not being able to sleep watching the cat clean herself browsing the TP forums at stupid hour talking to myself.

What am I doing later on today, photographing a 2 year olds birthday. No doubt I will be red eye jedi and look as if I have been smoking the herb all night,... (which of course I havnt as I would die due to being a silly asthmatic)

King.

EDIT: Now I am eating a big bowl of Cornflakes with a pint of cold cold cold orange juice. Yummy yummy yummy for my tummy tummy tummy. Think I'll pop to the shop at 6, grab the paper and a Cooooooooornettooooooo icecream.

Having spent all afternoon in the sun yesterday I am staying in today so traffic does not confuse me with a stop light.

Michael.

I pulled my fireplace apart and gave the insides a damn good polishing.

usual cruddy bank holiday weather here :(

Still........the beers have been flowing for a couple of hours now

All is not lost then ;)

Spent most of the day processing some of my backlog of photos. Also sorted and submitted my comp entry for this month :)

Is it OK if I complain about not having a bank holiday this weekend? In Denver?

(Although I'll confess to going to two rock shows and partying until all hours anyway. ;))

Sounds like you had a better weekend than most of us anyway

I ventured out of the house today to....... Tesco  Dave had to drive me and I hobbled round like a little old lady. That was enough excitement for one day!

If it makes you feel any better, the NIGHTS were fun but the DAYS, frankly, sucked. LOL. I've spent many fun hours this weekend painting the exterior of my house. What a joy. 4,000 square feet of nastiness.

Well Bank holiday Monday was fun for me - not!

First up we came into our shop this morning to a leaky sink which knocked out our water boiler, coffee machine, ice maker and toilets until a plumber arrived at 11.15. Two hours of giving free coffee from a crappy pour-over machine and apologising for lack of Lattes! The coffeeholics were mad!

Then the fridge in the kitchen gave up. Switch hat from plumber to electrician. Found a faulty switch so swapped hat back to that of apologetic waiter.

Got called to my greengrocer shop where a Polish numpty in the flat above had done something to their washing machine and water was pouring into our store via a light fitting. Lovely!

Get back to deli and the police are one the phone. What!? my alcohol licence was not updated in March. I told them I thought it was but my files were in Inverness, 12 miles away. Left chaos in shop to drive to my office to find I was right and the police were wrong (must have been a quiet day for them).

However it ended better. Wife made a Lasagne which the kids loved (must have been with extra hemp as the kids are really chilled tonight). William Fevre Merlot beside me and as I type this out things are looking a little better.

Tomorrow is another day..........

Well, I had intended to go to either Skomer Island or to Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust - but neither materialised. Instead I laid 30 sq m of wooden flooring on Saturday, Sunday was spent relaxing and taking pics of puppies, and yesterday we had friends over for a nice evening meal.

The wife and sister in law are starting my sons bedroom today as he starts college in a week or so and wants to 'start afresh' with decor et al now that he is no longer a school pupil. Kids eh!

I finally finished the decking, pulling a bicep in the process :( )

Just got to get the garden levelled and re-sown, then all done.

Managed to eat outside this weekend, which was nice.
