Drift ghost is a very good camera, used to have one on my helmetI've just bought one of these: Drift Camera to use on my cycling helmet.
Sold by HDEW Extra and about £40 cheaper than anywhere else in the UK - reported to have 5 hours battery life and takes up to 128GB micro SD card ... weather resistant, microphone, wi-fi etc.
Does it have stabilisation?Drift ghost is a very good camera, used to have one on my helmet![]()
Does it have stabilisation?
One of the Ghost’s best features is the Electronic Image Stabilisation which counteracts camera shake, giving you smooth footage - a necessity for motorbikers. There’s also a 330 degree rotatable lens, so you can mount the camera on an uneven surface on your bike, or on your helmet, and still get perfectly straight shots.
Thanks.
Interesting, all the video footage I've soon from use on motorbikes has been fine so certainly looks good enough for a cycle and definitely for O/P's intended use.Thanks.
Only the top of the range one has stabilisation.
I do mountain biking and it's very nursery on the trails so would need good stabilisation.Interesting, all the video footage I've soon from use on motorbikes has been fine so certainly looks good enough for a cycle and definitely for O/P's intended use.![]()
Another vote for the SJCAM.One of the most popular GoPro clones is the SJCam SJ4000, to the point where it has its own clones! If buying one you have to make sure that SJCam is printed on the camera body, there's an outer box shown and it costs at least £50. I've used a couple for streaming video from a Lego train at shows with great success.
