I am on a poncho on wet grass camera ready waiting for my kingfisher to return.
It's hot cold hot cold and I am very muddy.
Oh the glamour all I have seen so far is a distant butterfly...
 
I think I might be jealous, I'm watching Barbie and the 12 dancing princesses

Although I wouldn't trade my mummy daughter day :)
 
At least you have something to photograph

I fell asleep and woke up cold still no sign of any birds. Lol
 
I'm editing a family shoot from this morning. From the comfort of my own sofa and a nice warm fire! :D

I'm having a really good chat to a Kingfisher who thinks it really funny to make a cold photographer wait all day for a fleeting glimpse of him :lol:

BTW, he reckons you'll be so cold and bored by the time he decides to put in an appearance that he'll be gone by the time you manage to get off even one out of focus shot :D
 
Uploading images to a well known Photo Book site (over a gigabyte, tedious wait)
 
I was up until 5am going through photos from a gig I shot on Sunday, so I could send them to my editor.

Today is a day of resting and visiting friends. Tomorrow and Thursday I'm shooting gigs again. Busy week.
 
Contemplating joining the cat, who's looking extremely comfortable asleep on the bed!
 
I am just thanking my lucky stars as 150 people in my company lost their jobs and I survived. I also, looked at my bank balance and realised that I just made it this month :-)

I have some pictures of my Mam & Dad and my missus with my eldest daughter from the weekend, to process later. While sipping lemsips ...

he didnt turn up not a sign,in fact all i saw was 2 ducks i am exhausted and cold now.

still i have been told the starling roost is up to 50,000 on Otmoor now so thats my next mission this week.
even i cant miss 50,000 birds can I? :lol:
 
Surfing the net lusting after equipment as I 'am between cameras'. Most importantly, trying to figure out how I will afford it!

Having a chilled few hours, been hard at doing exercises for photography course most of the day, made up for some lost time.

what you cant see is how wet,flooded and muddy it is :gag:

well its lighter than my Army issue and allows me to sprawl on the ground.:lol:

I love the fact you've got a camouflaged cover on the end of your lens ... and are lying on a bright blue poncho :thumbs:

Laid on the sofa, off my face on all the pain killers for my back, watching tv oh I also have a tens machine going full pelt on my back. Plus I booked my epidural today, and got to wait 3 weeks for that. Oh and slept for most of the afternoon and evening. :lol:
 
As usual, looking for stuff on ebay. I think next purchase will be a medium format yashica.
