Don't think I am excusing what he did but I used to live near that road and it is in fact a dual carriageway and they are doing major roadworks there, just so you do not think it was a street where you are likely to have pedestrians and children playing.

Yup, if you're going to speed you should do it properly. Only doing 105mph in that car on a dual carriageway is a waste

the Sun talks about him scaring the workmen as he stormed by.. He did well to actually find some roadworks where the workmen were actually working.

On our street they closed the road for days whilst they re-surfaced it. One week later they were digging it up again to put in some pipes.
