What a Pro takes to the Olympics

just looked at his webbie as well and i would love to have portfolio like his.

'The first "impact damage" a.k.a. my "first victim" of these Olympics. We carry too much gear because once we're in position there's no running back to get the missing piece... and when I ran from one place to another, one camera body knocked into my 135mm f2 - "That'll leave a mark" I remember thinking, with no time to actually check the lens out. When I got to the next position I saw the front filter was completely cracked... that's why you have filters, I guess. The lens is still in pristine condition. Interesting he doesn't use a hood also
 
wondered about this, i alwasy though why spend £1K on a lens then put a £50 peace of glass infront of it :shrug:
 
i bet he never has to worry about affording lenses etc., canon prob give em to him, he is a walking advert for them!

I must admit I raised an eyebrow when I read this.

Having just watched the hundreds of photographers in the leadup and end of the 100m. Final.......

.........I think most of his colleagues raised one or more fingers to his statement!
