Well I've had a fantastic day, it was long and, at times, hard work but well worth it. I spent 12 hours on set of the final day's shooting of Joss Stone's new video. Until the video is released I can't share any shots or information about the shoot, but I will say it was just amazing to be able to shoot under these conditions, a great lighting set up, hair and make up, the works. I got some cracking shots which hopefully will lead to more work in the future

On cloud 9 me :D

Sounds pretty cool:thumbs:

Well, that's not fair! First you get all our hopes up and then you kill it!
Can't you at least post some old stuff of her then?
(He said drooling all over the place...)

Thats excellent mate. Looking forward to some shots / details :D

Without going into too much detail, can you give us a bit of info on what you had to do / how you got the gig?

How I got the job is a long story but basically comes down to knowing the right people.

I was booked by the guy doing the catering, it's Joss' brother and he's starting a catering business and wanted shots for his website, etc. Brother #2 was directing and asked for some shots of behind the scenes, etc. My being there was cleared with the production side of things but I knew I'd be asked about rights on the shots because obviously they can't just have a tog around shooting away on set. So in the end I was also paid to shoot stills during filming and signed an agreement on the publishing rights.

Damn thats very cool. I'd love to do this sort of documentary work.

The right man in the right place at the right time - Bonus! Well done and let's hope it's the start of many more...unless you bollixed it up of course...lol

Excellent story pxl8, an example to everyone wanting to go pro.

You can be the right man every day of the week but unless you are out there doing it all day you will never be in the right place at the right time.
