There's a little local shop down the street, you know the kind... anyway, at Christmas they were selling Lynx sets and some, almost double the price, had cards in them to download 5 iTunes.

Just went to sort it out for hubby and grabbed the card. Read the T&Cs on the back and realised that it was out of date.....


















it expired in 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsdown:
 
Whatever happened to just recording the top 40 off the radio and trying to stop the tape before the dj starts talking again :lol:

Hmm it might not be as simple as when I first looked at it, you may have to pay for a month before you can cancel but you get to keep the 50 free downloads as well as the ones you get with the subscription, you can still cancel after a month as far as I can see

b****r, i registered, couldnt find anything i wished to download and then cancelled straight away (they dont have anything i actually wanted that i could download) within about 20mins

edit: i have emailed them! maybe i should research before jumping eh!

They've got 7,000,000 downloads, you must be able to find 50 out of that lot :D it's still good value as you get 74 downloads for £9.99

I just noticed the 50 has changed to 45 now though

most of that 7M appears to be 'tribute to' type tracks!

everything i like they dont appear to have nor recognise the existence of, either way i managed to find 5 obscure albums i liked and therefore only have 8downloads left.

recommend me 8 tracks! but no dance!
 
Don't know what kind of music you're into, i've just started getting into Porcupine Tree and Blackfield, Blackfield I or II is very good as is Deadwing by PT in a prog rock kind of a way, it's hard to categorise
