Yes
I am not one to show presents off on forums etc but this is brilliant.

Katie has got me a box... in that box there are twelve envelopes and I am allowed to open one envelope a month (at random) and in each envelope there are treats.

I am allowed to open January's envelope now and its a trip to the cinema.....so year long gift

What a brilliant idea...... LOVE it and had to share

Thas a great idea. Hope you keep us informed of the other months.

Sounds like a great idea and will keep you interested throughout the year!

Let us know how you get on!

Cheers
Mark

Yeah I will let you know (if I remember) but my wife has said she cannot remember herself what's in there..... Oh exciting

I'm going to watch this thread!! That's a really thoughtful gift and the most original I've heard of in a very long time. Good stuff!!!!

"ALL THE BEST FOR 2014"

Good idea... I will nick... err.. I mean appropriate that :)

hmm i like the idea of that, and the better half has a big "0" number birthday coming up in 4 months... no idea what to get her, so hmmm... could be an idea.

What a brilliant idea, and so beautifully presented as well.

I did get other small gifts and I got the cinema tickets out of this to so VERY happy (y)

Very cool idea, that must have take some thinking out, well done your wife

Brilliant idea and a good way of spreading the cost too.

I think the idea is that you buy them all at the start and they are unwrapped at monthly intervals.

Still a great idea, just watch out for any "use by" dates on gift vouchers or tickets.

Anyone else thinking that all 12 presents will also be for the wife as well, not daft these women you know. LOL

Feb: pair of lacy knickers and bra for both to enjoy
Mar: Theatre tickets for the wifes favorite play
Apr: A weekend away at the wifes favorite spa hotel

etc, etc.

Yep it counteracts those 'useful' gifts... casserole dish, blender, hoover etc that you think we will love!:p

What a great gift, although the idea of trying to think up 12 gifts sounds like my sort of nightmare.

Yip, that really is a cracking present.

I told Jackie about it and that I might try for next year...she LOLd  Saying I couldn't get past March!!!

Enjoy.

Yeah Katie did say it was a nightmare to think of all the gifts.... :nikon: :nikon:

We have a friend who copied the idea this year BUT she gave her husband ALL 12 envelopes straight away   kind of defeats the idea really :wideyed:
