What’s on the menu?

Oh my goodness. It's certainly memorable. That's a great find, and thanks for posting it here.

Incredible pictures.

It is truly tragic :(

On the subject of the photography however, I don't believe a word that has been said about there being no set up. There's something screaming out to me that makes it a little faked.

Got to agree with that.
Absolutely no wish to belittle the horrible misery that does get inflicted on wildlife by humans discarding rubbish.

I think the photographer has attempted to illustrate a point by arranging all that rubbish on carcases. The quantities are probably far too great to have been ingested naturally.

Perhaps the impact would have been greater if less rubbish had been used.
Sometimes less is more.

It does look like lot of plastic in the photos and at first I thought that maybe it was set up but another site states that the healthy chicks often have one ounce of plastic in their stomachs and that it takes about 2 ounces of plastic to kill a chick. I just weighed 4 soft bottle tops together and they weight in at 0.25 of an ounce combined, therefore 2 ounces would be 32 soft bottle tops....I’m now leaning towards the pictures being accurate as stated.

Either way it is amazingly sad.

There's a whole paragraph explaining that their untouched in all ways.

After browsing various other websites, I'm inclined to agree that the pictures are indeed untouched...

Shameful, isn't it?
