Our local one was the "best"place for under age drinking, so I never went, I was too old

Our local one is actually quite good. Not the greatest food, but good for the price.

I used to frequent the Oswestry one, the Wilfred Owen. The most sane of all the pubs in Oswestry, and total opposite to the Boar's Head which was next door, that was permanent carnage. I haven't set foot in our new local one since it opened a year or so back, it's always ram packed.
