right so after the sunseeker ive got dust and all sorts engrained into the 20D and the sigmas rubberised coatings.

what do you lot use to get it off? it needs to be some sort of wet wipe affair, would normal computer cleaning wipes suffice? struggling to find anything that isnt glass or sensor cleaner on jessops or whorehouse express..

cheers guys

I tend to use cheap baby wipes, they're part soap, part water and part alcohol. They work quite nicely.

I'd suggest blow it off first, then brush off any remaining loose dust and then try a baby wipe. Just don't use anything with strong solvents on. Failing a baby wipe a just damp soapy cloth would be ok.

Once it's all nice and clean again get yourself one of those silicone impregnated gun cleaning cloths (ebay £2 or £3) and give it a rub with that (not on the glass... well the screen is ok but not your lenses) You'll be surprised how it brings the finish up.
