I really hope the bid is genuine. Im going to follow this to the end of auction. lets hope its real.

Would be nice if someone offered the seller something, even just a tub of board wax or one of those fancy towels. After all, he's the one that done the hard work.

Then again.........im sure he's getting plenty of "attention" in his local........being a self confessed well groomed individual and undoubtedly funny guy.

Going at this rate it wqill make 10k in about 20 mins... its already at 8k...

I hope they get the people to pay, will be a real shame if they dont :( :bang:

Now at £11,100 with over half a million views with 2days 4 hours to go

I really hope it doesn't just end up as a hoax and no monies get sent

Brilliant.

£11,300. now with 95% to charity. I so want these to be real bids.

Freaking hilarious, the q&a is pretty damn funny as well, but his bit reminded me of conversations I have had at the pub after a few to many:)

"Jeff at the Miners Arms reckons he invented 'the horse' when he was a lad, we explained it was an animal and that evolution created it, he was having none of it, reckons he crossed a deer with a cow after a bottle of scotch."

Must of been damn good scotch!

Now at 11,300! Really going mad.

According to Ebay's "for charity" page - http://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebayforcharity/sell.html

Ebay waive all fees on whatever part of your listing goes for charity, so it'll only be the % he keeps for himself that he will have to pay fees on :)

Good on him, he set out to sell it and make a few quid, this has now made a few K for charity and he still gets his 10% it could have been a penny and he wouldnt have bothered a bit about it so good on the bloke I say:thumbs:

Oh no. Just had a mental image of the wife in it if I won. Sorry no bids off me!

But he is only hung like a small dog, that must limit the attention he gets from all but the clergy.

The auction was won at 8pm last night for £8,999 by an anonymous bidder who has since admitted he can't honour his bid. The prizes have been offered to the second highest bidder for £8,900.
