Wet Sensor Cleaning - Streaks

I've managed to get my sensor on my 1D2 pretty much clean with an arctic butterfly and then a visible dust green sensor swab but I am struggling with the cleaning solution (visible dust's own) smearing ever so slightly, am I using too much?

You could be putting to much pressure on the swab as you clean the sensor. I find light pressure works better.

Guys, wondering how easy these are to use, always been a bit concerned so just used a blower?

First time I wet cleaned my D200's sensor, I managed to get it streakier than Erica Roe. Tries a LensPen SensorKlean on it and away went the streaks. Now, I use a rocket blower and Sensor Kleans rather than wet swabs, although I do keep a couple of swabs in case I need them.

I was using the smear away fluid instead of the sensor clear, a quick change and both sensors are now minty fresh.

I had smearing problems when trying to clean my 5D sensor with Visible dust cleaning solution, I then tried Eclipse sensor cleaning fluid and with one application the sensor was sparkling clean.
